I've been on deviantART for years. Throughout this time I have had some support. People have commented, critiqued, d and ed my stuff. Although lately I'm noticing a trend that I'm not fond of. And this is happening more and more each day. I am posting shots which tend to get no comments or critiques. If they do get such feedback, it's usually something along the lines of "this chick's hot." Shallow dolts are sticking my shots into their favorites section whilst having no work up of their own. It is demeaning to me and my models. Therefore I'm going to refrain from posting on this site until I think that'll change.

I hope that not all of you will take offense to this. Some of you are extremely talented and you know who you are. Your quality of work is second to none and chances are if you watch me, I've watch you. It's unfortunate due to that fact - there are some great photographers here. But for now I just feel that deviantART is not benefiting or furthering me as an artist. If anything, I feel that it's taking away from my confidence.
